Took a German friend out for her first overnight backpacking trip. We hiked up from the village, too broke (and let's be honest, stingy) to pay the Gondola. Up, up through the woods we went and emerged to the beauty that is Singing Pass and all those flowers!
2 pleasant nights spent in the Himmelsbach Hut, with 1 day spent exploring the Bumps.
A trip I think on very fondly.
