This is part of a 3 day trip. Larch is brilliant right now.
We climbed Cannon Mountain and Enchantment Peak on day 2.
A beautiful trail. Cannon is a bit further. We went from Enchantment Core zone, then Prussik Pass, down about 200', and then scramble along the rocky ridge (you can go down further for better tread).
Go along the right (east) side of the pond, over the valley, scramble up the ridge, across a large flat area, and then boulder climb up.
The very last rock has no foot/hand hold. Risky. Do NOT attempt it when wet.
The added bonus of this climb, is that we didn't see many people, even though it's a Saturday. Part of our group who didn't climb reported a lot of day hikers that day.
