Stayed at Frosty Camp on the Friday night, hiked up a cloudy, cold and windy Frosty Mt. Sat. morning, mostly went up to see the golden larches, which were magnificent. The trail was very busy on the Friday and insanely busy on the Saturday, if you don't like crowds or dogs avoid this hike on weekends! There is good running water at Frosty Camp for those wanting to overnight.
