DIRECTIONS: Take BC Ferries from Horseshoe Bay to Bowen Island (Snug Cove) and you can start hiking from there.create
SUMMARY: Mount Gardner offers beautiful views to Howe Sounds and North-shore mountains. The 20 minutes ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Snug Cove offers a sense of getting away but walk on to save expense and overloads.

The trail is well defined and marked but it still can be confusing. There are several forks along the way and can get challenging of which branch to choose. It is best to take a map with you. You can access the trailhead of Mount Gardner by getting into Killarney Lake first. The majority of the trail is under trees. The summit has two helicopter platforms that offer good areas to rest and enjoy the views.
