Sunday came rainier than expected but my sister and I still wanted to get out for awhile. We settled on heading to the LSCR to check out the landslide damage from Dec 2014 and the new lake that has reportedly formed near the base of the slide. Well... if you see the stats I've entered, you'll realize we did much more than that ;-) [edit, it won't allow my own stats with the name TNT; our GPS clocked us at 12.5km and approx 400m]
Up the TNT which has some rough bits that were very slippery in the steady rain that was falling, then west on a flagged connector trail that took us to the Cabin Trail past the pretty Mystery Falls. Down the Baden-Powell and out the Bridle Trail back to Hyannis Dr where we parked. A fun time connecting some new (for us) trails and a good dose of fresh air.
