Mild day out. East Canyon Trail to the Gold Creek Bridge... crossed over and went up and past Alder Flats... stopped above Alder Flats just before it turns sharply right and begins the steep ascent towards the ridge on your way to Golden Ears.
- did not need snowshoes
- lots of people on the Lower Falls trail (great to see families out)
- some mud and some slick rocks to contend with
