DIRECTIONS: Drive to the small town of Marblemount, WA. Cross the river bridge and continue on the cascade river road up to the the end of it. The road is unpaved for the last 10 miles or so. Closed in winter.create
SUMMARY: The trail meanders through the forest gaining elevation very slowly with wide switchbacks (good for kids and older people, I guess). However the views start almost from the parking lot, so this is not a boring trail. After you get to Cascade Pass - turn left and continue on Sahale Arm trail. It leads to the camp site right near to the glacier.create

This spectacular long trail is well maintained. Though the weather was foggy most of the time, the summit was above the cloud and we were lucky to have all beautiful scenery along the way from time to time that the cloud cleared. The driving time from Vancouver to the trailhead is about 3.5 hours and the hike is very rewarding.
