This is a winter camping trip. We camped on the ridge to the right (south) of Cutthroat Pass.
Trail is under snow from the parking lot (including the parking lot). So GPS map is crucial.
The zigzag up the pass becomes a straight, short but somewhat steep trek, which I was able to glissade down for part of the uphill.
View is fabulous.
